We match ICF/DD homes in San Jose with experienced contract QIDPs. Take ongoing hours, a single plan or assessment, cover while your QIDP is out, a pre-survey record audit, or training for a staff member stepping into the role.
Flat $90 per hour · 10-hour minimum · on-site in San Jose where a local QIDP is available, remote statewide
Serving ICF/DD-H and ICF/DD-N homes in San Jose and Santa Clara County. Free 15-minute consultation, no obligation.
San Jose ICF/DD homes hire a contract QIDP by the hour instead of adding a salaried role. Book the free 15-minute call, and we assign after it. The rate is a flat $90 per hour with a 10-hour minimum, paid directly to the professional.
San Andreas Regional Center has its office in San Jose. It serves Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito counties.
Labor costs in Santa Clara County are the highest of any area we serve. A salaried QIDP is out of reach for many six-bed homes here, and 1.75 hours per client per week does not fill a full-time post anyway. Contract hours match the size of the need.
The county has a deep base of nurses, therapists and psychologists. Many of them hold the year of direct experience the QIDP role requires, which helps us match on background as well as availability.
On-site hours in San Jose and the South Bay are usually available. Homes further south toward Gilroy and Hollister often use a mix of planned visits and remote hours.
We assign an experienced local QIDP first. Where none is available, the engagement runs remotely, unless you choose to cover travel costs.
Homes come to us at five different moments. Each one is scoped and quoted on its own, so you buy the hours the work needs and nothing else.
Each service is described in full on the main QIDP Consulting page.
* Discount available on longer engagements. Ask on the free 15-minute call.
We are a matching service. QIDP Consulting does not collect your fee and does not take a share of the hourly rate. The agreement and the payment are between your home and the professional.
California sets the qualified professional service at 1.75 hours per client per week. In a six-bed home that is 10.5 hours a week. Read it as a floor. A San Jose home that is rebuilding records, or working through a plan of correction, normally needs more at the start and less once the systems hold.

Assignment happens after that call. We look for an experienced professional near San Jose first.
