We match ICF/DD homes in Oakland and the East Bay with experienced contract QIDPs. Ongoing weekly hours, one program plan, cover for a vacancy, a record audit before a survey, or training for the person taking on the role.
Flat $90 per hour · 10-hour minimum · on-site in Oakland where a local QIDP is available, remote statewide
Serving ICF/DD-H and ICF/DD-N homes in Oakland and Alameda County. Free 15-minute consultation, no obligation.
Oakland ICF/DD homes hire a contract QIDP by the hour. A free 15-minute call comes first, and we assign the professional after it. The rate is a flat $90 per hour with a 10-hour minimum, and you pay the QIDP directly.
Oakland homes work with the Regional Center of the East Bay, which serves Alameda and Contra Costa counties from its office in San Leandro.
The East Bay holds a long-established group of small licensed homes, many of them run by owners who have held the license for years. Their records are often deep but out of date, and a record audit is the usual first engagement.
Bridge and freeway traffic shapes what on-site hours cost here. We agree the visit schedule up front so that travel does not eat the budget.
On-site hours in Oakland, Berkeley and the inner East Bay are usually available. For homes out toward Livermore or eastern Contra Costa County we plan visits in blocks and run the rest remotely.
We assign an experienced local QIDP first. Where none is available, the engagement runs remotely, unless you choose to cover travel costs.
Homes come to us at five different moments. Each one is scoped and quoted on its own, so you buy the hours the work needs and nothing else.
Each service is described in full on the main QIDP Consulting page.
* Discount available on longer engagements. Ask on the free 15-minute call.
We are a matching service. QIDP Consulting does not collect your fee and does not take a share of the hourly rate. The agreement and the payment are between your home and the professional.
California sets the qualified professional service at 1.75 hours per client per week. In a six-bed home that is 10.5 hours a week. Read it as a floor. A Oakland home that is rebuilding records, or working through a plan of correction, normally needs more at the start and less once the systems hold.
DirectCare is our sister practice for the paperwork side of an ICF/DD home: program plan templates, attendant and medication training plans, and a document library you keep. Visit DirectCareHQ.com
You describe the home, the residents and what is going wrong. We tell you honestly whether we are the right fit. No cost and no obligation.
Assignment happens after that call. We look for an experienced professional near Oakland first.

Standard terms are 50 percent to start and the balance on completion, paid to the QIDP directly.
