We match ICF/DD homes in Long Beach with experienced contract QIDPs. Take ongoing weekly hours, one program plan or assessment, cover for a vacancy, a record audit before a survey, or training for the staff member who steps into the role.
Flat $90 per hour · 10-hour minimum · on-site in Long Beach where a local QIDP is available, remote statewide
Serving ICF/DD-H and ICF/DD-N homes in Long Beach and Los Angeles County. Free 15-minute consultation, no obligation.
Long Beach ICF/DD homes hire a contract QIDP by the hour instead of adding a salaried position. You book a free 15-minute call, and we assign a professional after it. The rate is a flat $90 per hour with a 10-hour minimum, paid directly to the QIDP.
Long Beach sits in the Harbor Regional Center service area. Harbor works from Torrance and covers the Bellflower, Harbor, Long Beach and Torrance health districts.
Small licensed homes here sit close together, and travel between them is short. On-site hours stay practical in this part of the county, even for a home that needs only a few hours each week.
Many Long Beach owners run one or two homes and no head office. The QIDP role is the first one they contract out, because it carries the plans, the team process and the record a surveyor reads.
On-site work in Long Beach is straightforward, because the harbor area and the South Bay hold a large group of homes within a short drive. Record work still runs remotely when that is faster for you.
We assign an experienced local QIDP first. Where none is available, the engagement runs remotely, unless you choose to cover travel costs.
Homes come to us at five different moments. Each one is scoped and quoted on its own, so you buy the hours the work needs and nothing else.
Each service is described in full on the main QIDP Consulting page.
* Discount available on longer engagements. Ask on the free 15-minute call.
We are a matching service. QIDP Consulting does not collect your fee and does not take a share of the hourly rate. The agreement and the payment are between your home and the professional.
California sets the qualified professional service at 1.75 hours per client per week. In a six-bed home that is 10.5 hours a week. Read it as a floor. A Long Beach home that is rebuilding records, or working through a plan of correction, normally needs more at the start and less once the systems hold.
DirectCare is our sister practice for the paperwork side of an ICF/DD home: program plan templates, attendant and medication training plans, and a document library you keep. Visit DirectCareHQ.com
You describe the home, the residents and what is going wrong. We tell you honestly whether we are the right fit. No cost and no obligation.
Assignment happens after that call. We look for an experienced professional near Long Beach first.
