We match ICF/DD homes in Bakersfield and Kern County with experienced contract QIDPs. Ongoing weekly hours, a single plan or assessment, cover for a vacancy, a pre-survey record audit, or training for a staff member taking the role.
Flat $90 per hour · 10-hour minimum · on-site in Bakersfield where a local QIDP is available, remote statewide
Serving ICF/DD-H and ICF/DD-N homes in Bakersfield and Kern County. Free 15-minute consultation, no obligation.
Bakersfield ICF/DD homes hire a contract QIDP by the hour. A free 15-minute call comes first, and the assignment follows it. The rate is a flat $90 per hour with a 10-hour minimum, and you pay the professional directly.
Kern Regional Center works from Bakersfield and serves Kern, Inyo and Mono counties.
That service area crosses the mountains and the eastern desert. Bakersfield holds most of the population, and the rest of the area is spread thin. Owners in Ridgecrest, Bishop or Tehachapi rarely find a qualified professional nearby.
Remote hours solve most of that. The assessments, the program plans and the data review do not need a drive. We keep on-site time for the meetings that need it.
On-site hours in Bakersfield are usually available. For the desert and mountain communities we plan a small number of visits and run the rest of the engagement remotely.
We assign an experienced local QIDP first. Where none is available, the engagement runs remotely, unless you choose to cover travel costs.
Homes come to us at five different moments. Each one is scoped and quoted on its own, so you buy the hours the work needs and nothing else.
Each service is described in full on the main QIDP Consulting page.
* Discount available on longer engagements. Ask on the free 15-minute call.
We are a matching service. QIDP Consulting does not collect your fee and does not take a share of the hourly rate. The agreement and the payment are between your home and the professional.
California sets the qualified professional service at 1.75 hours per client per week. In a six-bed home that is 10.5 hours a week. Read it as a floor. A Bakersfield home that is rebuilding records, or working through a plan of correction, normally needs more at the start and less once the systems hold.
DirectCare is our sister practice for the paperwork side of an ICF/DD home: program plan templates, attendant and medication training plans, and a document library you keep. Visit DirectCareHQ.com
You describe the home, the residents and what is going wrong. We tell you honestly whether we are the right fit. No cost and no obligation.
Assignment happens after that call. We look for an experienced professional near Bakersfield first.

Standard terms are 50 percent to start and the balance on completion, paid to the QIDP directly.
