Flat $90 per hour · 10-hour minimum · on-site in San Diego where a local QIDP is available, remote statewide
Serving ICF/DD-H and ICF/DD-N homes in San Diego and San Diego County. Free 15-minute consultation, no obligation.
San Diego ICF/DD homes hire a contract QIDP by the hour. A free 15-minute call comes first, and the assignment follows it. The rate is a flat $90 per hour with a 10-hour minimum, and you pay the professional directly.
San Diego Regional Center serves San Diego County and Imperial County. Homes in the city of San Diego work with that office, and so do homes in the desert two hours east.
The county is wide. A home in North County and a home in South Bay can both be an hour from the same meeting. We plan the hours around that distance instead of pretending it is not there.
San Diego has a deep clinical labor market. Nurses, psychologists and social workers here often hold the year of direct experience the QIDP role requires, which widens the pool we can draw from.
We assign a local professional in San Diego first, so on-site visits are normally possible. For homes in the far east or far north of the service area, a mix of remote hours and planned site visits usually costs less.
We assign an experienced local QIDP first. Where none is available, the engagement runs remotely, unless you choose to cover travel costs.
Homes come to us at five different moments. Each one is scoped and quoted on its own, so you buy the hours the work needs and nothing else.
Each service is described in full on the main QIDP Consulting page.
* Discount available on longer engagements. Ask on the free 15-minute call.
We are a matching service. QIDP Consulting does not collect your fee and does not take a share of the hourly rate. The agreement and the payment are between your home and the professional.
California sets the qualified professional service at 1.75 hours per client per week. In a six-bed home that is 10.5 hours a week. Read it as a floor. A San Diego home that is rebuilding records, or working through a plan of correction, normally needs more at the start and less once the systems hold.
DirectCare is our sister practice for the paperwork side of an ICF/DD home: program plan templates, attendant and medication training plans, and a document library you keep. Visit DirectCareHQ.com

Assignment happens after that call. We look for an experienced professional near San Diego first.
